Revenue Linter is zero-write and advisory-first by default. It detects, explains, recommends, and packages evidence without mutating Stripe, Shopify, or your production database.

Revenue Linter may

  • Validate restricted Stripe API keys that start with rk_.
  • Mirror Stripe customers, subscriptions, invoices, payments, disputes, Checkout Sessions, and event history.
  • Ingest app-state snapshots from customer applications.
  • Ingest product and support/evidence events.
  • Import Shopify/order data for reconciliation.
  • Generate deterministic findings, fix recipes, Cursor prompts, and evidence packets.
  • Notify humans about critical revenue drift.

Revenue Linter may not by default

  • Accept unrestricted Stripe secret keys that start with sk_.
  • Cancel Stripe subscriptions.
  • Refund payments.
  • Lock or downgrade customer accounts directly.
  • Mutate Shopify orders.
  • Mutate a customer production database.
  • Submit dispute evidence automatically.
  • Treat AI output as billing truth.
